Cadillac Transportation Information

THE AIRPORT

Located just north of the City Limits, the Wexford County Airport offers an excellent facility for private and corporate planes. Terminal is located at 8040 E. 34 Road, 779-9525.

LOCAL BUS SERVICE

The Cadillac/Wexford Transit Authority is a county-wide demand-response system that operates Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm and Friday 6:00 am -7:00 pm. This transportation service can be contacted by calling CWTA Dispatch at 779-0123 or CWTA TDD at 779-0124. All vehicles are wheelchair accessible and package delivery is available. CWTA offices are located at 1202 North Mitchell Street.

STATE-WIDE BUS SERVICE

Cadillac Chemical Company was founded in 1903, and until the last Mitchell Brothers cut was finished in 1920, contributed greatly to the industrial tempo of Cadillac. A chief by-product in these processes was, of course, charcoal, and this illustration of the familiar "charcoal cart" on company premises pictures a most familiar memory of those days to our old-timers. Greyhound Lines and Indian Trails are located at CWTA offices at 1202 North Mitchell Street. Bus lines schedule information and reservations can be reached by calling 775-0333. The bus lines office is open daily from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.

For those who wish to travel in style, Cadillac Limousine Service can be reached at 775-4943.

TAXI SERVICE

Taxi service is available through Cadillac Cab Company,
